Glad you've stopped by.
My name is Faraz and I specialize in data analysis and visualization of RNA-seq (
single cell and bulk), CHIP/CHIRP-seq, ATAC-seq, Bisulfite-seq and EPIC-DNA methylation arrays.
Work
My current appointment is with Cornell University's Transcriptional Regulation and Expression (TREx) facility,
where I am actively developing and maintaining open source workflows for RNA-seq, small RNA-seq and ATAC-seq services.
Apart from this I provide consultation and collaboration on research grants and
Genomics Innovation Hub projects for adaptability of new tools and data analytics approaches for scRNA-seq and scATAC-seq experiments.
Prior to this I had a joint appointment with UAlbany's Center for Functional Genomics and Life Sciences.
Other projects include:
- Designing of
NGS data analysis and visualization learning modules for training graduate students and faculty.
- Maintanence of the front and back-end of TREx and Genomics Innovation Hub's official website.
- Development of R shiny applications and apple-script automator workflows for enhanced productivity.
